It’s been a cRaZy year for the
Hall’s first married year! Here are some highlights!
·
Lindsay
was accepted to Life West Chiropractic College last March! (Her first choice!)
·
Vacation
numero 1: California for Spring Break! Our radiator exploded…
·
Addison
got promoted to assistant manager at KFC
·
Lindsay
got a job at the ever so high class Country Club as a waitress
·
Vacation
number 2: An all-expense paid trip to Life West in Hayward California! This
time, Lindsay and Addison got trapped at the Overland, CA airport for 3 hours,
discovered their hotel they reserved online was a heaping dump with smashed
windows and a knocked over hotel sign, ran as far as they could from the place,
spent mucho buckos to find a decent place to stay, etc. But Life West was
GREAT! The Hall’s absolutely loved it and Lindsay can’t wait to start! And once
they got to the hotel the school paid for, it made up for everything else.
·
Addison
quit KFC! Whew! A needed change. (They weren’t treating him well.)
·
Vacation
nombre 3: A lovely, restful vacation at a Bear Lake lodge with great friends…or
it was supposed to be!! Let’s just say we were lost in the mountains for 6
hours, somehow drove through someone’s farm land and on the last day almost
lost our car on a rocky hillside.
·
Lindsay
finds out she’s getting laid off! 2 minutes later, Dr. Wade called and offered
her the job as Office Manager/Receptionist/Chiropractic Assistant at Integrity
Chiropractic. Dr. Wade is a graduate from Life West (Go Gladiators!) and has
taught Lindsay so much! She LOVES her new job and is so excited she gets to
learn all the office work she won’t learn in school.
·
Addison
changed his major! He is now majoring in exercise science, just like his lovely
wife. :)
·
Salt
Lake Comic Con! This is where we found our beloved pet, Doll, a sylvion from
Pokemon. She’s adorably cute and we’re quite convinced she’s alive. Doll has
been an excellent addition to our family and she’s not against apartment policy
for pets.
·
Lindsay
and Addison go to the aquarium! There was a super cool aquarium we randomly
came across in Sandy, Utah. We saw it and thought: “What the heck, let’s go!”
It was SO cool! Plus we got to see a 4D shark movie with motion seats, spraying
water and 3D. EPIC!
·
Lindsay
and Addison go Paleo! They took a 30 day challenge and saw remarkable results!
Addison is now doing great and appears to be fully recovered from his illness.
·
Vacation
number shi: California for Thanksgiving. Due to their former luck with
vacations, they thought it was a great idea to carpool with their cousins. They
have a much newer car, just got it serviced, it’ll be great! O-Three-hundred
hours, November 24th. They’ve
been driving about 6 hours now, Addison just took over. The car’s asleep. Addison: “Something
fell off the car!” “I’ve lost power steering!” “There goes the engine light.”
“There goes the battery light!” “There’s no traction!” “AVS just turned on!”
This all occurred in the very curvy canyon between St. George and Mesquite. We
make it out of the canyon when everything dimmed to nothing. So we coast as far
as we can and made it about 1 mile from the Mesquite exit. In the end, AAA
saved us, we found a hotel, Imagine Dragons sent their manager’s assistant who
kindly gave us his car to get to California and we all made it to California. I
don’t think our cousin’s will ever carpool with us again, and hey! We don’t
blame them.
·
Addison
got hired as a gymnastics coach at Altius Gymnastics! He loves his job and all
the girls adore him! One girl jumped
on his back, told him she was his stalker and refused to let him go. Totes
adorbs, guys.
The End for now. After this year we
now realize we’re doomed to have a wonderfully adventurous life. And that’s
okay, we’re excited. But for now, we’ll take cover this Christmas break (it’s a
dangerous time of year for us, after all, a popular slogan this time of year is
“Deck the Halls”) and stay in Cache Valley. Thank you to all our wonderful
family and friends for the support this year! We’re one year down and have
eternity to go. Loves!
